Case files of Viscous Flow around Cylinder

Dear all,

My name is Antonio Garcia-Uceda, and I’m a researcher on Flux Reconstruction methods. I’m using pyFR as part of my project.

I’d like to run the test case you reported in your paper: “PyFR: An open source framework for solving advection-diffusion type problems on streaming architectures using the flux reconstruction approach”.

Would you please provide me with the mesh and set-up files for this case? Thanks a lot.

Hi Antonio,

Which case specifically are you interested in? There are a couple
used in the paper that are not included in examples/.

Sorry, I missed the actual case name indeed: in the paper, section 5.3: Compressible Navier-Stokes equations: flow over a cylinder.

Thanks for your interest in PyFR!

We plan to release a few 3D example test cases in due course (probably early August). I’ll announce on the mailing list when we do this.
