Correcting discontinuous field

Hi,

I wonder if there’s anyway to corrected discontinued field especially for unstructured mesh? No matter in visualization or simply doing exact interpolation, results from unstructured mesh always give strong discontinuity. I understand in DG, only flux continuity is considered but is there anyway to correct solution also in post processing?

You can try using the clean to grid filter in ParaView to clean up the field for visualisation purposes.
