Hi guys!
I happened to find an image showing the acoustic results solved by PyFR.
Just curious if it is obtained by DNS or LES or some hybrid acoustic analogies?
Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

Guess they are showing here the dilatation of the velocity field (if it is incompressible), these results can be obtained directly by using DNS or LES.
Dilataion is the divergence of the velocity ∇·v and is a measure for the relative change in density of a fluid particles.
