How to contribute to development?

Dear all,

I am new at PyFR, highly interested to learn more and to apply the package.

However, I did not find any information on the web sites how one can contribute to the development. I have a few things may be of interest (mesh converter, export capabilities).

Any suggestions where to look?

I second this notion. It would be helpful to see the roadmap (GitHub issues integrated with waffle.io?) and start some developer docs (GitHub wiki?).

I’m also interested in making a couple of contributions (e.g. adding passive scalars). Can a team member comment on what public contributions (if any) are permitted? Specifically, can we submit pull requests for platform compatibility fixes, code optimizations, or new features?
