# Using Pointwise to Mesh

Reading through the forum, I have seen that most of you prefer to use Pointwise and Gmsh for meshing. With Pointwise, I cannot seem to get around the “Pyramids with non-parallelogram bases unsupported” error when importing into PyFR. How do you guys get around having pyramids in your mesh when meshing with Pointwise? I seem to always have pyramids around edges in my 3D unstructured meshes.

You can generate a pure tetrahedral grid.
